Kin+Cargo Exhibition
Exploring Baltimore’s Sister Cities

Kin+Cargo addresses the relationships Baltimore has cultivated with its Sister Cities over the past forty years — including Rotterdam, Kawasaki, Xiamen, Piraeus, and Luxor-Alexandria. The exhibition includes objects and stories from each of the cities.

Exhibition Dates/Times:

Runs through April 21, 2014 • 12:00 - 6:00 pm daily • Open to the public

Location:

Baltimore Inner Harbor, at McKeldin Square (corners of Light and Pratt streets). The exhibition is located inside a “PODS” container.

Opening Reception:

Friday, April 4, 2014 • 6:00 pm - 8:00pm

Kin+Cargo is curated by Ashley Molese for her Masters of Fine Arts in Curatorial Practice thesis at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA). The exhibition is generously supported by PODS containers, the Baltimore Office of Promotion & the Arts, the Sister City Committees of Baltimore, and the Maryland Institute College of Art Curatorial Practice Program.
