De Coolsingers

De Coolsingers is a 17-member men’s choir from Rotterdam, founded in 1999. The singers are 19-35 years old, performing a capella music spanning from the Middle Ages to contemporary works. The name of the choir is derived from the main street in Rotterdam “De Coolsingel”, with a pun on the English pronunciation of the name.

The choir had a successful trip to Baltimore in 2008, and is considering a follow-up visit to Baltimore. During their 2008 tour, they performed at Baltimore schools, City Hall, Enoch Pratt Free Library, Pennsylvania Station, churches, and senior centers.
